The Ubiquiti Wave Professional, also known as Wave-Pro, is a high-capacity 60 GHz radio designed for long-range outdoor networking applications. It supports both Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) configurations, making it highly versatile for various networking scenarios. Equipped with a 60 GHz primary radio, the Wave-Pro offers a maximum throughput of 5.4 Gbps (2.7 Gbps duplex), ensuring robust, high-speed data transmission over distances up to 15 km in PtP mode and up to 8 km with a Wave AP in PtMP mode. This capability is particularly useful in setups requiring high bandwidth across extended distances without the need for extensive cabling.
